Terms of Service

Hello! If you are interested in buying a handmade costume, please read below. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions at drelteocommissions@gmail.com

 

By contacting drelteocommissions@gmail.com or Drelteo on Instagram/DeviantArt to organise a purchase, you are expected to read, understand and agree to the terms and conditions below. The TOS is non-negotiable. Please refer to this page for updates.

DISCLAIMER

Drelteo is not responsible for any injuries that may occur while costuming in their products. While great care is taken to maximise vision and create comfortable and flexible costumes, it is the buyer’s responsibility to take necessary safety precautions and stay hydrated. Although they do not come into direct contact with materials, I own cats, so please inform me if you have an allergy so I can sufficiently clean your suit before shipping :)

QUOTES

Quotes are available by contacting me via email or social media. Please be informed that quotes are only provided for upcoming pre-made designs as custom orders are not available.

PAYMENT

Prices will be discussed in USD and must be paid in this currency, including from those also in Australia. Methods of payment include PayPal and Credit/Debit card transfers. Payment plans may be organised on request.

AGE

Proof of age is required. Customers must be over 16 and parents/guardians are required to fill out a consent form for those under 18, providing permission of communication between the customer and I to discuss information such as shipping and payment plans.

TURNAROUND TIME & UPDATES

In the event where a costume is pre-claimed (meaning a deposit is made and the suit is reserved for the customer prior to its completion), turnaround time can be between 1-4 months. You will be informed of a more accurate estimate when the deposit is discussed. Rush orders/guaranteed deadlines are available for an additional cost if you would like your costume by a certain date.

For pre-claimed products, progress updates will be shared regularly as comments and/or photos. If at any time you would like an update, feel free to ask - my work hours are 8am-8pm Monday-Thursday and 8am-5pm Friday AEST. Any major unforeseen delays will be communicated immediately.

MEASUREMENTS / SIZING

Each product is unique. Please refer to the live listing's description, or if pre-claiming a product, I will communicate to you the basic dimensions prior to your payment. It is the buyer’s responsibility to communicate details that could alter the costume's design and safety, such as glasses, facial piercings, hair (that may need more room inside the costume eg. dreads) and physical disabilities etc.

SHIPPING 

Your handmade product will be shipped from Australia. International shipping is available and all orders are tracked. Please note that Drelteo is not responsible for lost packages or damage caused after the product has been shipped, nor for any additional costs such as fees and customs. Feel free to contact me for a shipping quote.

RETURNS

All sales are final. Although quality and durability tests are run before shipment and lots of passion and care is put into the work, small flaws and imperfections should be an expected part of hand-made products. Due to shipping costs, physical repairs cannot be made by myself, however if you ever have any issues or questions about the product I would be very happy to help and give advice. Please keep in mind your potential to outgrow costume parts. 

 

Other than repairs, major alterations made to the product by you or others without approval by Drelteo are not allowed. You will receive care instructions with your suit that will help you maximise its lifespan, and with proper maintenance it can last for many years.

CANCELLATIONS

Drelteo Costumes reserves the right to refuse service and/or cancel projects. Unreasonable behaviour will not be tolerated and cancellation of a project due to breaking TOS or harassment etc, determined by the seller, may have to be decided and carried out without warning.  

 

Refunds are only available if cancellation is requested prior to packaging for shipment. Although unlikely, if for any reason a project must be cancelled due to no fault of yours, the full price will be immediately refunded. 

 

If  6 weeks pass and no payments have been made in addition to weak or absent contact by the customer, or the customer has not made sufficient efforts to organise a new payment plan, the sale will be cancelled and product remains the property of Drelteo, who reserves the right to re-quote, alter, complete and/or sell the project at their sole discretion.

In making a purchase or payment, the buyer affirms that they have read, understood and agree to the terms and conditions above.
