FURSUIT Measurements
Let's get started!
This process is critical in ensuring your fursuit fits well, so take your time. First, open the personalised Fitting Form sent to you by Drelteo. Follow the instructions below to fill out the form. Collect 3 measurements for each step, and input the largest result you believe reflects an accurate measurement. I'm always happy to lend a hand, so please reach out if you'd like clarification or photo examples :)
HEAD
1.
Head circumference (position tape on eyebrows and measure the widest horizontal point)
2.
Center of the top of the head, to the point of the chin (centre of head will be the highest point when standing straight and looking forward)
3.
Outer face circumference
HANDPAWS
1.
Circumference of widest part of hand, when positioned as if fitting a glove
2.
Center of wrist crease to furthest finger tip
3.
Center of wrist crease to tip of thumb
FEETPAWS
1. Your preferred shoe size in centimetres

2. Your preferred shoe size in US Mens or Womens
3. Optional fitting notes (eg. wide feet, extra arch support preferred)
TAILS
1. Your belt size (length) in cm

2. Your preferred belt width (this will determine the size of the tail's belt loops)

BODYSUITS
Bodysuits require a DTD. You'll need cling wrap, scissors, grey duct tape and someone to help!
Work in sections:
Start at your ankles and move up toward the torso. Circle the cling wrap around 2 or 3 times, overlapping each wrap, then cover the wrapped area with the duct tape using the same method. Move onto the wrists, then arms, and finally the chest, shoulders and upper back. Be sure to tape right to the end of the wrists and ankles.
Be safe:
Do not cover the hands, feet, neck or head. Keep water nearby and don't wrap too tightly, especially around the chest.
Keep it smooth:
Ensure you overlap correctly to avoid unwrapped areas which can cause deformation later in the project, while avoiding bulky overlapping
Make some markings:
The creature below will show you where to mark!
1. Line across collar bones
2. Cross on belly button
3. Line across hip bones
4. Circle elbows
5. Circle ulna head (prominent wrist bone on pinky side)
6.Circle knees
7. Circle nner & outer ankle bones
